As much as I love guns and am an avid supporter of guns in the home and for hunting or various other uses, I have to say that a large number of irresponsible people are ending up with WW2 Airsoft sniper rifles or an M1A1 Thompson Airsoft gun in their hands. It makes me a little nervous. Oh sure, there’s lots of ‘funny’ videos on Youtube of kids shooting each other and fake blood and all that; but when it comes right down to it you can actually get hurt quite badly if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time—like for instance standing next to one of the irresponsible people with an Airsoft sniper rifle in their hands. The makers of Airsoft rifles are very quick to say that they are not responsible for any injuries suffered at the hands of anyone using one of their products. And they are right! They’re not responsible. If you buy an Airsoft sniper rifle, replication from WW ll or any other war, you are responsible… Not the manufacturer.

That said; there is an entire collection of extremely accurately portrayed replications of WW2 Airsoft sniper rifles in the Airsoft sniper rifle line. Accessories, extra ammunition, rifle upgrade kits; all of these things make the sport of airsoft gun wars a fun and actually educational adventure. Should you happen to upgrade the spring and you should upgrade the spring guide as well. Not doing so will result in firing issues, and who needs that? He upgraded his rifle and now instead of 278 shots he can fire off an amazing 380 to 400 shots. His one of those guys that likes to buy something and then alter it, upgrade it, change it up as well most avid gun collectors. He also mounted a bipod and scope that had to buy the mounting rails to do so. He recommends a couple of websites where you can get the things you need to upgrade your weapon successfully. The stock barrel will do until you can upgrade as long as you keep an extremely clean, was his advice of the day. He says he still maintains accuracy within approximately 130 feet and can’t wait to get his next rifle, the TDS MK96, to see what it is capable of. Another satisfied owner of the M1A1 Thompson Airsoft gun with a slightly cautionary tale said that he in his time has owned a number of Airsoft guns, but that this particular gun was his absolute favorite. Its high rate of fire, its power and amazing accuracy is most impressive. He does recommend that should you buy this gun, you should also buy an extra mag. The mag that originally came with its only held 48 rounds. Here’s where we run into trouble: he goes on to say that he has shot his friends with this gun many times and loves to watch them run after he starts shooting at them. This is exactly why some people have problems with these guns. He then borrowed it to a friend who proceeded to shoot him in the neck from 15 feet away. The .12 gram BBs actually put a small cut at his neck which did start to bleed and left a scar. He advises that you should not purchase this gun as your first. He does feel that this gun however outperforms even the $300 Classic Army Airsoft guns. Certainly it outperforms Double Eagle Airsoft guns. He finishes up by suggesting that you should have a very least six months of experience with these guns before you upgrade to one of these. Clearly, he wasn’t quite experienced enough.

That last story is why these guns continue to get a bad reputation. Guns are dangerous, there’s no two ways about it. I am a huge gun advocate. I believe in guns in the home, for hunting and as hobbies, and for target practice. I also believe that they should be locked at all times when not in use and stored away in an additionally locked cabinet. With no glass door please, thank you very much! That way your M1A1 Thompson Airsoft gun is safe.

I’m glad we’re all out there having fun, and trust me when I say that I am an avid gun supporter. What Is An Airsoft Minigun?

I can see by the look on your face that you are wondering “What exactly is an Airsoft minigun?” And if you already know, this will just be repetition for you.

I thought mini meant tiny!

These guns are a 1:1 scale replica of the real thing. Their rate of fire is extremely high that somewhere around 1000-2000 rounds every minute. The principle on which it operates is that of the Gatling-gun. Rotating around the firing axis is its six revolving barrels. • The A&K SVD Dragunov is once again, a sniper rifle which is spring loaded and has some of the most accurate long distance shots of any sniper rifle. Its long barrel is more likely than not the reason.
• The WELL L96 AWP yet another spring powered, bolt-action sniper rifle (I’m sensing a pattern here); and is one of if not the, best available. Known for its power and insane accuracy it does nonetheless have one drawback. The magazine clip can only hold 23 rounds. But considering its accuracy and power, how many rows does one really need? I’m just saying.

These guns can be as dangerous as the real thing mentioned and must be handled with extreme care. All manufacturers of the WW2 Airsoft guns recommend a high level of care and safety when using their products.
